Syllabus & SOGAP

The Standard Operational Guidelines and Procedures (SOGAP) is the rules, policies and guidelines for the Peter Morton Academy of Judo Jujitsu Karate.

The SOGAP is under constant update. Updates will be available as each is completed.

Note: No one, no matter what standing, can take any part of the SOGAP, funds, finances or assets of the Peter Morton Academy of Judo Jujitsu Karate Inc. with them when they retire, resign membership, are expelled or disassociate themselves from the Academy in any way.

Incorporation

As an incorporated association, the Academy must comply with the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 1984 (NSW) (the Act).

Under the Act, all incorporated associations must have rules and these rules must be followed. The Act also requires every incorporated association to include certain rules within its rules.

It is an offence under the Act not to comply with these rules.

In conjunction with the Constitution, the:

  • voted rules
  • non-voted rules
  • regulations
  • policies
  • guidelines
  • descriptions

as amended from time to time, contained in the SOGAP form part of the management of the Academy.

Amendments

Amendments to the Academy Constitution and amendments to the Academy rules can only be ratified by special resolution that must be tabled at either an Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting.

SOGAP

Apart from any use as permitted under the Copyright Act, no part of the SOGAP may be reproduced by any process without prior written permission from the Peter Morton Academy of Judo Jujitsu Karate Incorporated.

Copyright permission

Only a current registered and financial Dan Belt member of the Academy may copy, distribute and otherwise freely deal with any part of the SOGAP, provided that use is exclusively:

  • for the provision of the Academy martial art and associated services
  • within Academy law
  • within any other purpose required by law.
